Under construction...

These pages will eventually lay out my experiences reloading fired paper Federal 12-gauge shotgun shells for both target and field use, using vintage cardboard, fiber and cork wads. Some powders (such as Alcan) are no longer available, but the others (700X and PB are still around).

These reloaded shells are shot in a vintage Model 1897 Winchester take-down 12-gauge pump shotgun.

I don't have to work -- I just do it for the money.

Nevertheless, work does have a bad habit of keeping me from more important activities, such as keeping this website up-to-date.

Stay tuned anyway -- I'll eventually get these "Shotshells" pages put together...

In the meantime, the following pages contain some images of vintage Herter's 12-gauge fiber filler wads.
